De Nieuwe Uri Geller February 20

Dutch show. Nice.

Though there were no act which would make me cry or scream. Only one which made smile - it was Victor's act. Sorry that he is out.

Tooske was very beautiful, and Uri looked well, I especially liked his laugh. Usually he is too serious and at first I even thought he doesn't have a sense of humour.

Most of all I liked Doctor Victor's act which made a fat Patty do physical exercises, tests and predicted results. It was really funny, especially the exercises with a red ball.:)

Reinder - Spiritual mind joining - act with coloured sand, Ferry and Belle. Ferry made a wish what Belly should do - sit on his lap, say "You're nice" and kiss him. And Reinder put this wish into her head. Good act, sand and music were beautiful. And it really worked.

The Mask - Bed of Death (falling swords).


I have seen this act in German show but still liked this one. Good idea with a shield which Uri offered to the girl to protect her. Cool game with masks in the beginning. And it was a great incident when some people run to the stage to unmask the performer.:)



Vincent Vampire - Newborn, he guessed a sign burnt on his head.
I really enjoyed the beginning when Uri gave Vincent garlic to check if he is a real vampire or not.:) And put the garlic near on the table. But I suppose Uri should take the garlic away after Vincent's act or he was afraid that other contestants could be vampires too?:)))
As for Vincent's act I didn't like it much. The dirt on his eyes, all the self-tortures... I felt most part just pity to the performer.

Jochem - Carnival
Act with confetti. He asked celebrities to draw a carnival's symbol, grind up the paper, and in the end of the act the symbol was figured on the floor. The idea was not bad but there were not enough scenery to create an atmosphere and mood of carnival. Maybe some dancers in masks would help... It is strange because Jochem's scenery was excellent before. Here stage looked almost empty, just too much paper falling from above, and as Uri said it was necessary to clean the stage after the act.:)

Ghani & Yelle
I like the couple but not this time. At first Yelle didn't think about her hairstyle, dress, make-up. And all the arrows which the poor girl had to catch... Besides this it was too dark on the stage. The act could be not bad if she would deflect the arrows by her mental power instead of catching them. Uri gave them immunity - ok, maybe next time they will show something more interesting and exciting. Audience really adore them.

De Nieuwe Uri Geller February 6

Dutch show. Cool.

A lot of new, original, creative ideas.
Tooske was glorious. Great hairstyle and dress.
All acts were not bad though some needed more work.

Reinder - water tank with piranhas. I liked the short movie about the lovely fish.:)Though in reality they looked not so dangerous and impressive. Maybe Reinder should dive into the tank to find and take something from bottom by hand - for example, a shell with a pearl or a golden ring.

Vincent Doll Voodoo.
I liked beginning of the act with Vincent's singing and the ceremonial. It was beautiful and showy. But later the act became more boring, and even manipulation with a doll were not interesting and stressful enough.

Yelle & Ghani

An umbrella and water in the bottle. Good act. Very impressive appearance with the umbrella.



Robert
Nails and gloves. This act affected me most of all. I liked his scream.:)And the nail in a nose. It seems all this was real.

Rob & Emiel

I didn't like the artists but the act with oakum and especially "reading" a number of 50 euro note on distance were not bad.

Uri

I really enjoyed his act with a photo of Paris. Though I am sorry that didn't get the name of the city and the image. Maybe I need more practice or a personal training.:)Hope he will show acts like this more often.
I also liked when he broke a glass and run away in the end when learned that Vincent stays in the show.:)

De Nieuwe Uri Geller January 30

Dutch show. Nice.

I have chosen my favourite - it's Jochem! Though not sure if he will win the show as he has a so strong opponent as The Mask.

Uri was great, in the end looked vigorous, happy and even young. I understand that he has to go to the shows irrespective of mood and form. But I don't like when he looks like a corpse. Maybe he should wear a mask in such cases? It'd be something special!:)))

Tooske - ohh, charming girl, I adore her. It seems she likes experiments with her appearance. Dress was interesting. Hope next time she will invent something new.

As for acts, most of all I was impressed by Jochem - "synchronism" in 2 "rooms" - Jochem repeats everything what a person in another room is doing - dresses, burns up a candle, pours out drink, etc. If he is a real mentalist it is amazing and he must be a genius! If not I enjoy his staging and fantasy. They are perfect.





Winfried and Angelique - "water tank".

In the beginning Uri said that doesn't want dangerous acts in his show. I don't like to hear this again and again because the show will be boring without danger!
Music and aqua blue background were great. In comparison with sexy Amila Angelique looked not so great, she didn't even think about hairstyle and make-up. And Amila's acting was more impressive. But there was much more dynamism in their perfomance as several assistants run around auditory and "save" brother and sister. In the end I even cried. Not bad act, it's a pity they are already out.

Michel - he showed accelerated movie to 4 celebrities, after this hypnotized them and asked questions, put down and checked their answers. He would be good in police or court at work with witnesses (ih he already doesn't work there). I liked the act but wouldn't like to be hypnotized by Michel - his methods are too rude.:) Uri gave him immunity.

The Mask

It's a pity he decided not to talk with his voice, he lost a lot of charm. The voice was great.
Entourage, classical music and especially the chandelier reminded me Phantom of the Opera. Beautiful tables, cloths, candles which he ruined. But most of all I liked Uri's phrase in the end:"If you are really my wife, I want to seriously talk after the show".:)))

Vincent-Vampire


He put a girl dressed in white to the table, splashed her with blood and made his assistant bite her. Not bad act and I especially enjoyed reaction of Uri which turned and even run away, and reaction of audience - many closed their mouth by hands. Nobody stayed indifferent.






Uri's Act - "talk to dead" (spirit session with a glass). Not bad though not sure if it was really a talk to dead.:)
