Semifinal. Not bad though this time I was not realy impressed by any of acts.

No, I liked very much one act - but it was Uri's act with 2 stones. I did it with 2 pens and felt like there were magnetic attraction between them or rubber.



As for second Uri's act (he showed "remote viewing" for Kary Novel) it just made me laugh because Uri pretended that by chance had found a pen on the floor, and after Kary wrote the number Uri asked him to cast him the pen.:))) It was too clear that this was a special "espionage" pen. Uri, darling, please, prepare your acts better!!!



Now, back to mentalists.

Nefesh - "Date"

I like very much the idea of the act but the realization... Just think: a man invites a girl on a date and asks her... to IMAGINE water, red wine, food on the table, etc.! I'd kill the "admirer" for such date or would offer him to imagine dance or sex.:))) No, I'd make this act in another way! A man asks girl what flowers she likes - she answers - he shows audience the sign and gives her the flowers! He asks what wine does she like? She answers - he takes off the cover from the bottle, and we all see the wine. They drink wine, after this he asks what she would like to eat? And takes off the cover from dishes on the table... and in the end he asks what gift she would like to get, and gives her a golden ring or another thing...






Zakris - 4 boxes, girl and hammer.

Very beautiful music and Zakris looks great as always! But the hammer doesn't look enough threatening. Zakris destroys only cover of the box and in any case can't make any harm to a person inside. Besides this Zakris came too close to the boxes and could almost touch them and hear breathing of the girl, or she could even tell him that she is there. And what about the doll? I expected that it will be in the third box and Zakris will damage it by hammer to show audience what could happen to the girl!







Pedram - almost the same act, just Pedram is inside the box.

Sorry I didn't understand what he was doing in the box. Was he sitting squat? Then he didn't risk at all, arrows couldn't make him any harm. And it was necessary to open a box after every shot to make sure that mentalist is not there.





As for Kary Novel and Phedon they didn't impress me, I am not fond of such acts though Kary Novel is very charming.

Great show. This time I enjoyed absolutely all acts, every minute of the perfomance.

It'd be hard to say who of contestants was the best this evening but Pedram's act with scorpions impressed me most. And "yogi" Sankara's act with "papyrus" looked very beautiful, very well performed. It's a pity that Sankara left the show.

Vilentoni's Gioconda and Kary Novel were also very good and convincing.

As for Uri's "telepathic message" - he sent the star again like in French or another show before. I suppose that most people always select star, it is not telepathy.

But I have got another, really telepathic message from Uri - when he looked at the contestants and decided which 2 impressed him the least I understood his decision (Sankara and Vilentoni) before Uri called their names! The same had happened last time with Godfather. So telepathy really exists, and I can read mind!

Minute of Fame with Max Maximov

Yesterday "Minute of Fame" began on the central (1) TV station. There were many good contestants but I especially liked Max Maximov from Latvia who showed tricks with spoons and forks. He bent a lot of them in different ways, rubbing and on distance, he spiraled them and jurors couldn't unbend the spoons. He was so young, charming and self-confident! The perfomance was brilliant.

It is interesting that nobody said even a word about Uri Geller though for me his influence and influence of the show Phenomenon (The Next Uri Geller) were evident, the boy looked exactly like a contestant from the show (sure he could become a winner).

Max had big success, people were amazed and asked how he is doing this and is it a gift or result of training, and Max answered mistily. He works as a metal artist (craftsman) and it seems likes metal a lot!:)

I just think that perfomance like this is not for big audience. Though it looks great on TV screen but even the judges of a contest which were close to the stage couldn't see the tricks well (and Max had to repeat the trick specially for jury just near their table), what to say about other spectators.

It seems one more "The Next Uri Geller"? I am very curious and excited to watch Greek contestants. Greece is my favourite country, I have been there twice and would be happy to visit it again and again... Greeks are so special people, warm and kind. And some of them are very handsome!:)

Surrealism - Salvador Dali and his successor Uri Geller

I am sorry to say though I am well educated and studied Art I didn't knew this genius well before, at universaty we had too little time for every artist, maybe there was just half an hour for Salvador Dali and he didn't impress me. But when I have seen Uri's paintings I was shocked, it was something very special. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the pics.

Uri said it's a style of Salvador Dali... and I decided to go to Spain and visit museum of Dali. Have you been there? Arhictecture of the building is very original (the eggs:), sculptures near too. Statues of Oscars which Dali dreamt to get...:)

And of course his pictures. They are fantastic. And I do understand this kind of Art, even if it looks so unusual. These are pictures of subconsciousness, pictures of dreams! One thing turns into another, maybe it is strange but all Universe is one whole! It only seems to us that we are different, that the things are apart.

Sure it is very useful to look every day at such pictures to come inside yourself, to contact your own subconsciousness.


I also understood there that Dali had a big influence on Uri Geller! Not only on sketches. I have seen there a lot of tea spoons and Cadillac, and Dali's golden jewellery (shapes of serpents).

As for sketches I have seen them too, on the walls, and yes Uri really paints in Dali's style but Uri's sketches are better! Dali's works are too fast and slipshod.

And Uri's designs of jewellery though he starts from Dali, are more interesting and original too!

I don't speak of pictures because Dali was a real Master, he studied at Academy and perfected himself for years, it would be difficult to excel him but... Uri, as an artist, as a designer is a deserving successor of Dali.

And his famous Cadillac with spoons... is a worthy work of Surrealist Art!

Does telepathy exist?

During this last show Uri sent an image of a star, and half of viewers got it.

Before recognition of telepathy it is necessary to consider other versions, I have some:

1. It was "magic of stereotypes". If to ask many people one question (for example, your favourite flower?" - most will give one answer (rose). So maybe most people usually choose STAR among these images.

2. Viewers could guess what Uri has drawn by his movements.

3. Uri has intentionally drawn attention to the star.

4. 25 shot (hidden image on the TV screen which comes directly to subconsciousness).

5. Hypnosis (it is already not far from real telepathy).

I only don't know how to interpret the fact that some viewers get the image before Uri begins to send it... I had the same experience.

The Night of the Strange.

One more great show with Uri. It had a big success - market share reached 24.2% over four years and older and 31.7% in the household less than fifty years! TF1 was the leader on this target. And hundreds (if not thousands) of Internet comments and messages to Uri.

It seems this guy is not too old yet!:)))

Well, actually Uri was born to become TV showman. His charisma, his power are remarkable.


I just think Uri Geller made a mistake to become a spoonbender. At first, I've seen already several magicians which are bending spoons better - more impressive, on distance, by one look or some passes. Besides this it is nice to watch spoonbending once, maybe twice, but nobody wants to watch it every day. That's why Uri has to travel all time from one country to another to surprise those who hadn't seen this trick yet. If Uri would choose a little different kind of TV career - maybe a TV hypnotist, a TV compere, etc. it would be better for him and his reputation, and nobody would call him a fraud.

I see public sincerely loves him and I like Uri's modesty - when they make compliments Uri answeres that he is just an ordinary person, not a God. It seems he doesn't suffer from "star illness".

Now I am interested in audience of such shows. Many people wrote that spoons fell (jumped) down from TV. I don't believe that it really had happened because of Uri and show. It would be interesting to make an experiment and ask people to put their spoons on TV during other show, without Uri and watch what will happen. I am almost sure that the result will be the same, spoons will fall - there could be something with balance, electrostatic influence, vibrations or such other things. Not power of mind, I suppose.

Though there was one interesting letter about a spoon which damaged TV:

"Hello, as you all, I attended the show on the TF1 evening the strange.
So I set myself my spoon on my TV, designed my star. But I was very shocked, I could not sleep that night, and I think not even sleep for weeks, because when Uri Geller said one two three, my spoon was starting to dilate and then melt, and finally to disengage to finish in a state of powder, leaving the plastic television track net. While the experience was impressive, I think many people have also experienced the same as me, but my TV very dear to my heart has been severely damaged since the burning of the spoon digging left a 1.5 cm deep and about 3 cm ². In addition, the massive silver spoon is not at all usable."

The author is going to demand compensation and asks to join him writing by e-mail those which property was damaged too.

If the story is true the case is going to be very interesting!

I don't know how to explain this incident.

Pyrokinesis - King of Fire

Today I have watched some very interesting videos about one psychic from Kazakstan and have read a big discussion about the videos. This man could become "The Next Uri Geller"! He can heat and burn by hand using mantras GLIM and IM.





Of course it could be a trick. At the same time, this man explaines in detailes how he learned to do it, how all this works, about energy ball, etc. He is very convincing and has a lot of clients. So the things could be real and at least deserve attention and observation.

Rock crystal

Inspired by Uri's jewellery I have got a stone of rock crystal in the shape of heartlet + a small crystal ball and rose quartz, "brother" of rock crystal which is also quartz. They are entrancing, I love them and keep on the dressingtable near my bed, together with a glass pyramid and a moonstone.

And it's a whole story how I have bought my crystals and how I buy stones!
For me stones are alive creatures, they can respond and even talk! I can hear them. And I usually buy only stones which want or ask me to purchase them.

When I took into my palm a stone of rose quartz it began to cry and demand from me to buy it immediately, and I had to run and do this just to calm the stone.

But I had to spend much more time picking rock crystals because they were silent and didn't want to talk to me. Then I took one crystal to one hand and second to another and listened to my feelings. Suddenly a stone in my hand became hot, and I understood which of them will be mine.

When I have brought the crystals home I have got interesting visions - imperial palaces, delicious crystal vases and chandeliers...

I hope that my crystals will help me to concentrate on prayers, spells and to see past and future. And rose quartz will attract love.

I admire Uri's design again and again. His jewellery is a true work of Art.
At first - really original idea to couple gold and rock crystal. And unique style.

"Detective" Uri Geller

I have read the interesting story here:



"In 1992 (...) mother of a missing teenager asked him to locate her. Helga Farkas had vanished in Budapest shortly after her high school graduation the previous year, and her new sports car had been found abandoned. Geller announced to the family and to the Hungarian press that Helga was alive and would soon be returning home.


Authorities later learned that József Csapó and his associate Benedek Juhász had kidnapped Helga for ransom, then killed her when the public attention became too intense. Csapo was convicted of her murder in 1998. Her body has not been recovered."

To my opinion, Uri Geller hadn't "seen" anything, just wanted to calm down family of Helga.

Uri Geller and Safronovs

I see illusionists Safronovs really fell in love with Uri! They protect him now so flamingly! They offer not to guess how he is doing the tricks and if the things are real, just enjoy positive atmosphere. Uri is a "mystificator" - and it is enough to know.

Brothers are really convictive - but at the same time...

Nobody calls illusionist David Copperfield, David Blain or Criss Angel "fraud", "charlatan", they are world famous and honoured magicians.

Nobody in Russia considers that Brothers Safronovs "cheat", nobody tries to "catch" and "expose" them, they have good reputation, there's no negative aura around them like around Uri.

It seems that Uri does something wrong with PR.

Uri likes to say that controversy made him famous - but these people became famous without controversy, just because they were charismatic, talented, hardworking and did their work well.

Maybe Uri shouldn't call himself a "mystificator"? Say that you are illusionist, mentalist, and everyone will love you.

P.S. I liked how they mimic Geller!:) "When you meet a girl, tell her:"1, 2, 3... Work!" or "The bed is yours!"

Uri Geller and Roman Lutoshkin

Very interesting and strange moment! During Malahov's show Uri Geller publicly admired perfomance of Roman Lutoshkin (trick with a spoon) and invited him to take part in his show. But later, in dressing room, Uri said that will not take Roman to the show because Roman called him a deceiver and because he is a loser.

I can suppose that Uri has changed his mind, maybe someone from Roman's ill-wishers "helped" him.

It is also possible that Uri had mixed feelings to Roman - admiration and jaundice to the young challenger.

Uri Geller vs illusionists - Who did win the battle?

It was very interesting to read Internet comments especially at the illusionist's forum about the Malahov show!

I agree with them that the main goal of Malahov was to arrange a scandal and make Geller flare up. But it didn't happen, Uri stayed positive, calm and confident. And it is possible to say that Uri won the battle because his opponents were too feeble and too nervous. He wiped out all of them with one phrase:"Why are you so angry? You should learn PR". As a result at the show Uri Geller just got an extra advertisement. Everybody now admires his behaviour and charisma.

At the same time, producers of the show declared that are going to expose Uri and prove that he cheats. And I can't say that after the show I or anyone else believed that Uri has supernatural abilities.

The show even convinced me in the contrary.

When Uri began to tell again stories about UFO's light in his childhood and about spoon which he broke when was 5, it became clear that he doesn't believe in all this rubbish himself. No need to check with detector, it was too evident lie. Even not a fairytale in which storyteller believes at the moment when he narrates it. No, just a flat deception. It seems that Uri already tired himself from the lie but has to repeat it again and again to keep the legend.

When Malahov asked Uri about his psychic gift Uri began to flounder: "I didn't tell that I have a gift... it is just a gift..."

After this Uri started to speak about his best friend John Lennon and a famous american astronaut. I have heard the tales many times before and they made me sad too. No, I don't think that this was a lie, it is possible that Uri really met the celebs. But it sounds like he tries to prove all time:"I mean something in this world because I was a friend of so famous people! And they even gave me gifts and advices!"

But you mean something in this world not when you've met some famous people and can tell about it. You mean something if famous people are proud, happy and tell everyone that they met you!

It seems Uri tries to hide diffidence behind great names. Uri Geller is not sure who is he and what is he doing in this world.

Maybe he should already change the record and reveal his own nature?

Uri, please, forget John Lennon and UFO! Forget spoons!

TV show Uri Geller, King of Bent spoons

I really liked Roman Lutoshkin - Russian illusionist and his trick with a spoon. He bends spoons so easy that I'd believe that he does it using psychic power! He is more convincing than Geller - though maybe not so charismatic but very charming.

As for other illusionists they didn't impress me - Yuri Gornuy run around stage with cards screaming something inarticulate, an editor grew seeds but they didn't even show it well.

At the same time participants and spectators of the show told many right things - about power of TV which can make a "Phenomenon" from any geek, that Uri is a magician but sends out positive and gives people a good mood.

Very interesting moment - most viewers which wrote comments in Internet about the TV show didn't care if Uri is a magician or a wizard! They took him just like a person who can help to stop smoking!:)

TV show with Uri Geller

Just have watched the show of Malahov "Uri Geller - King of bent spoons" where they tried to make a scandal and expose Uri Geller. Well, they managed to expose him but there were no scandal. Maybe because Uri stayed confident and positive while most of his opponents were too nervous.

Uri called it the best show in his life. Of course it was just a compliment.

The show was not the best I have seen and not among the best of Uri Geller's shows. It looked too unprepared and unfinished, in the end Uri suddenly sprang to his feet and declared that he must already go but will show a shot of his fingerprint.:)

But there were many good moments as well and I can't say that the show was losing.

I enjoyed very much Uri's photos, his strong energy from TV screen, his rather confident behaviour, cheerful mood.

Though I don't like when Uri pronounces ready sentences, all time (in all shows and interviews) the same phrases - about his children which he took to Brazil to show poverty (especially as it sounds like he was a very greedy father),about his friend John Lennon, about mystic light, etc. He doesn't even care if the phrases are appropriate or not and tells them one by another.

But when he departs from the script the result can be really impressive. I appreciated Uri's sense of humour when he joked that doesn't want to check John Lennon's gift - a stone - because is afraid that the stone was made in Taiwan! Great joke, Uri!

Uri Geller in Moscow, spoons and pictures

I have visited some presentations of Uri Geller in Moscow and in the end have watched him bending spoons!

Well, what can I say? It was funny, I am glad that have seen this though can't affirm that I have been much impressed.

If a person has a strong psychokinetic ability it is enough for him just to look at spoon, maybe to make some passes or keep a spoon in his hand to bend it. But Uri rubs it very hard and very fast, so fast that I or anyone else would not be able to do this without long special training. He also very fast prints answers on his smartphone and paints pictures. Uri's fingers, all movements display an experienced illusionist.

As for energy, when I have watched the process for the first time I kept another metal item just near Uri and a spoon, but didn't feel any energy from Uri and nothing had happened to the item. Nothing had happened as well to other spoons and forks which were on the table near Uri during all presentation though strong psychokinetic power would certainly influence on all metal objects around him. I have touched the spoon after - it was cold and not bending any more.

Second time when I have watched spoon bending I felt an easy trance. As far as I know Uri is a hypnotist so it was not a problem for him to produce the effect, but it means nothing yet.

So I don't think that Uri's bending spoons is a real phenomenon. Most time it could be just a trick though I admit that Uri could have and use sometimes a real psychokinetic power which is not very strong.

I also believe that he can read thoughts. I looked at him thinking:"Uri! Look at me!" - and he did this.

In fact I was much more impressed by Uri's paintings. They were really beautiful and close to professional. I believe Uri could become a great artist. Of course it was necessary to study and work hard for some years. But in his youth Uri wanted just fast fame and money and as a result became Uri Geller which half of the world consider to be a phenomenon, another half - a charlatan though in reality he is just a gifted person which didn't realize yet most of his talents.
