Greek Uri Geller is over... Zakris is a winner. He was so happy!
Really enjoyed this last show especially because the producers gave a chance to all former contestants to perform acts. Especially I liked Vilentoni's tricks with coins and Christos. But all of the contestants were good.
As for finalists Pedram impressed me most of all with escape from water tank. Dynamic and dramatic perfomance, all audience had been involved into in it. I just couldn't see well the numbers on a lock so the person who entered the code could dial any other numberes.
Second for me was Zakris with fire and coffins. Very original and interesting act but too long... it already became boring to the end.
Then - Kary Novel with a map of Europe and a car (the car was an interesting and fresh idea). He is sure a good mentalist and very charming person so though Kary didn't win the show he will have success in Greece.
And Nefesch is the last. I didn't like this act at all - his weak and as Uri said controversial imitation of Jesus Christ (walk on water) in the beginning, all his manner of speaking is too sugary.
As for Uri's act with kids and a compass (or what it was?) it didn't impress me much because I couldn't see well what and why was moving there. But can suppose that the movement can be just a reaction to the sound of voice which has nothing to do with mentalism. In any case, I am waiting from Uri more impressive and strong acts, something like what his contestants do and even better.
I liked Uri's good actor's work during this show. He always looked well and even younger than before, in nice shirts. I liked his talks with Christos and comments about acts. And the dramatic moments when Uri had chosen the mentalists who impressed him least of all.
So now I want to thank Uri for the good show, to thank the great mentalists which took part in it, to thank Christos, producers and everybody who worked on this show and arranged promotion (magazines, Uri's buses!) and of course you my readers!

Ο διάδοχος του Uri Geller - 19/12/09
Semifinal. Not bad though this time I was not realy impressed by any of acts.
No, I liked very much one act - but it was Uri's act with 2 stones. I did it with 2 pens and felt like there were magnetic attraction between them or rubber.
As for second Uri's act (he showed "remote viewing" for Kary Novel) it just made me laugh because Uri pretended that by chance had found a pen on the floor, and after Kary wrote the number Uri asked him to cast him the pen.:))) It was too clear that this was a special "espionage" pen. Uri, darling, please, prepare your acts better!!!
Now, back to mentalists.
Nefesh - "Date"
I like very much the idea of the act but the realization... Just think: a man invites a girl on a date and asks her... to IMAGINE water, red wine, food on the table, etc.! I'd kill the "admirer" for such date or would offer him to imagine dance or sex.:))) No, I'd make this act in another way! A man asks girl what flowers she likes - she answers - he shows audience the sign and gives her the flowers! He asks what wine does she like? She answers - he takes off the cover from the bottle, and we all see the wine. They drink wine, after this he asks what she would like to eat? And takes off the cover from dishes on the table... and in the end he asks what gift she would like to get, and gives her a golden ring or another thing...
Zakris - 4 boxes, girl and hammer.
Very beautiful music and Zakris looks great as always! But the hammer doesn't look enough threatening. Zakris destroys only cover of the box and in any case can't make any harm to a person inside. Besides this Zakris came too close to the boxes and could almost touch them and hear breathing of the girl, or she could even tell him that she is there. And what about the doll? I expected that it will be in the third box and Zakris will damage it by hammer to show audience what could happen to the girl!
Pedram - almost the same act, just Pedram is inside the box.
Sorry I didn't understand what he was doing in the box. Was he sitting squat? Then he didn't risk at all, arrows couldn't make him any harm. And it was necessary to open a box after every shot to make sure that mentalist is not there.
As for Kary Novel and Phedon they didn't impress me, I am not fond of such acts though Kary Novel is very charming.

Very nice show.
Most of all I enjoyed Pedram's act with cucumbers. He is really very courageous - to teach a girl during one minute to cut cucumbers blindfold and... lie to the table under the sword!
I also liked Zakris's act with boxes and hammer(though The Mask in Netherlands impressed me more). White boxes looked fine, and appearance of the hammer was impressive.
Zakris is a real star of the show, he has a fan club! I didn't expect that Uri will choose him to leave the show but it seems that Uri (or maybe producers) wanted to make fan club work? Of course he stayed, I was almost sure.
Kary Novel (Candyman) - very beautiful act with sweets. But why Kary didn't give the candies to his assistants in the end of the act???!!! Christos is a smart man, as he began to throw the candies to audience.
Phedon's act with telepathy was not bad too and I have no ideas how could he know and write words before people said them. Or maybe they all were actors...
Nefesh's spiritism - well, mystical, beautiful, but as Uri said, too long. And I doubt that the girl really had seen her grandmother.
Vilentoni's act with greeting cards - I would stop on the table with roulette. Not too bad, but... I am not sorry that Vilentoni left show, and he was not upset too.
Uri spoke about Neofitos that he regrets and it's a fault of Cypriots which didn't support him. Yes, it's a pity.

Just good show.
Most of all I liked Pedram's act with TARO cards, it was original and fresh.
Zakris's act (photos of phobias) was not bad too though I agree with Uri that it would be better to take the spider out of the glass box.
And there was one act which I didn't like at all - ΝΕΟΦΥΤΟΣ's - guns with nails.
I have seen this act before in other shows but this time it was especially disgusting, and the mentalist looked like an idiot-masochist.
There was no "drama" in this act like Uri said, it was just an awful, stupid and detestable perfomance.
I am sorry about this mentalist because he is handsome, charismatic and could show something better. Maybe had had no choice and simply couldn't choose another act.
Again I knew Uri's decision before he called names of 2 mentalists.
I just hoped that ΝΕΟΦΥΤΟΣ will stay but it seems that all audience disliked his last act. I am sorry, ΝΕΟΦΥΤΟΣ.

Ο διάδοχος του Uri Geller November 28
I would like to start from the end because it was really moving. I don't know why producers of the show decided to return back one of contestants but it was really unusual and interesting moment. Though I would prefer back Sankara or The Godfather.
I knew again beforehand that this time Godfather will be eliminated. I felt cold from him like he already didn't belong to the show. I am sorry about him but his acts were really not the best.
Zakris's act impressed me most of all, especially the episode with ice which was very beautiful. I will not be surprised if Zakris will win the show.
ΝΕΟΦΥΤΟΣ's act (with Michael Jackson, song "Heal the world" and ballons) was interesting but I don't think it was proper to show photos of Uri and Michael. Though I suppose the mentalist didn't invent the act himself I had a feeling that he tried to "bribe" Uri this way. It was not pleasant.
There was one funny moment when they showed Uri speaking about last act when
ΝΕΟΦΥΤΟΣ stopped his heart. Uri called the act "unique" though we have watched it already many times in other shows. Well, well, Uri is a good actor!
Last telepathic act was also not bad, funny little man on the pictures.

Great show. This time I enjoyed absolutely all acts, every minute of the perfomance.
It'd be hard to say who of contestants was the best this evening but Pedram's act with scorpions impressed me most. And "yogi" Sankara's act with "papyrus" looked very beautiful, very well performed. It's a pity that Sankara left the show.
Vilentoni's Gioconda and Kary Novel were also very good and convincing.
As for Uri's "telepathic message" - he sent the star again like in French or another show before. I suppose that most people always select star, it is not telepathy.
But I have got another, really telepathic message from Uri - when he looked at the contestants and decided which 2 impressed him the least I understood his decision (Sankara and Vilentoni) before Uri called their names! The same had happened last time with Godfather. So telepathy really exists, and I can read mind!

Uri looks great in the blue shirt!
Blue is his color, not black! Uri, please, dress in blue more often!
I liked this perfomance though there were no acts which would really impress me, I have watched most of them before.
The best act was performed by Villentoni who was looking for a hidden item, and audience in masks.
Godfather is still great but I am not fond of his acts. The stick and bricks were obviously sham.
In tne end of the show before Uri called name of God Father I have read his mind and understood he will say this name.
Uri moves tables:
