I have an idea - it would be great to release the best acts from all The next Uri Geller shows on DVD! I mean an "international edition" with best acts from all Uri's shows (Phenomenon, Successor, The next Uri Geller) including Dutch, American and Israeli acts, with translation into English and with this promo trailer in the beginning (directed by Adam Sanderson.)
Maybe some DVDs.

De Nieuwe Uri Geller January 30
Dutch show. Nice.
I have chosen my favourite - it's Jochem! Though not sure if he will win the show as he has a so strong opponent as The Mask.
Uri was great, in the end looked vigorous, happy and even young. I understand that he has to go to the shows irrespective of mood and form. But I don't like when he looks like a corpse. Maybe he should wear a mask in such cases? It'd be something special!:)))
Tooske - ohh, charming girl, I adore her. It seems she likes experiments with her appearance. Dress was interesting. Hope next time she will invent something new.
As for acts, most of all I was impressed by Jochem - "synchronism" in 2 "rooms" - Jochem repeats everything what a person in another room is doing - dresses, burns up a candle, pours out drink, etc. If he is a real mentalist it is amazing and he must be a genius! If not I enjoy his staging and fantasy. They are perfect.
Winfried and Angelique - "water tank".
In the beginning Uri said that doesn't want dangerous acts in his show. I don't like to hear this again and again because the show will be boring without danger!
Music and aqua blue background were great. In comparison with sexy Amila Angelique looked not so great, she didn't even think about hairstyle and make-up. And Amila's acting was more impressive. But there was much more dynamism in their perfomance as several assistants run around auditory and "save" brother and sister. In the end I even cried. Not bad act, it's a pity they are already out.
Michel - he showed accelerated movie to 4 celebrities, after this hypnotized them and asked questions, put down and checked their answers. He would be good in police or court at work with witnesses (ih he already doesn't work there). I liked the act but wouldn't like to be hypnotized by Michel - his methods are too rude.:) Uri gave him immunity.

It's a pity he decided not to talk with his voice, he lost a lot of charm. The voice was great.
Entourage, classical music and especially the chandelier reminded me Phantom of the Opera. Beautiful tables, cloths, candles which he ruined. But most of all I liked Uri's phrase in the end:"If you are really my wife, I want to seriously talk after the show".:)))
Vincent-Vampire
He put a girl dressed in white to the table, splashed her with blood and made his assistant bite her. Not bad act and I especially enjoyed reaction of Uri which turned and even run away, and reaction of audience - many closed their mouth by hands. Nobody stayed indifferent.
Uri's Act - "talk to dead" (spirit session with a glass). Not bad though not sure if it was really a talk to dead.:)

Never watch Uri Geller on QVC!!!
For those who doesn't know yet that Uri Geller designs jewellery - never visit the site http://www.qvcuk.com/ and never watch Uri presenting his jewellery live on QVC! I risked to do it once and still regret. The things are too beautiful, they blind. I have seen gold rock crystal and felt I wish it, I have seen a watch and understood I want everything... :) after this I stopped to watch because it was too dangerous.:)))

The Next Uri Geller January 27
German show.
Not bad.
All contestants were great, very bright and charismatic. Only Uri looked not very well, like on funeral.:) Not sure was he tired, sick or something really had happened.
Most of all I liked risky act of Jan Rouven with falling swords. Though it was too dragged out (he explained too long to the girl what she should do). Jan's image was awesome, he reminded me Dima Bilan, our pop star, the winner of Eurovision 2008. It's a pity camera's work was not very good here, it was difficult to see the swords. It was necessary to shoot Jan from above + falling swords from below + give the swords close up + repeat like they falling slowly.
Danny Ocean - I was not much impressed by the act with matches and pendulum because have seen it before. Though it was not bad, Danny did everything right, and audience was happy to see him.
Ully Loup - I liked Ully but not his act, I would prefer something more risky or complex from him.
Amila - she was great in the red dress and I enjoyed her acting - she looked at the tank so fatefully like really believed she will sink there soon.:) And music was very proper too. In the end her "concentration" worked but there were no big difference with previous time.:) I also didn't like that the tank was already filled with water when she got into it and that water took rise so fast, it makes the act too short and not stressful enough. I'd like to enjoy this pleasure longer.:)
Danny Ocean was out. It's a pity... a little. I liked his act with forks.

De Nieuwe Uri Geller January 23
Dutch show again.
This one I enjoyed not so much like previous - of course it was not bad and still interesting. I mean there were no acts which would really amaze me and I can't call any contestant to be my favourite. Though most of all I liked Robert and Victor.
I liked when they showed newspapers' articles about show and funny video with a cat which is a copy of mine.:) And when Uri told about Vincent-Vampire and hundreds of viewers which protect him.:) I think it is true. All this proves the show has success in both countries.
Now, about the acts.
Robert
Last time he showed an act with a fire and this time fire again. 6 boxes in one of which a man hides. Bones were original supplement. Quite impressive.
Peter & Ronald
I didn't like the act. Not the "moo" (it seems they vocalaized mantra but it sounded too funny). Not Rebekka, a fat woman which assisted them. Though she sang well but couldn't they find a pretty young girl for the act. Glad they left the show.
Reinder
Last time he walked on his hands through glasses. This time again something like this, not sure, was it a coal or what. In any case I liked the act not very much. It was too short and too hard and painful for him. This obviously was not a demonstration of paranormal abilities. If he would dance there for 2 minutes and would smile and joke after it, maybe...
Victor
Healer (last time). This time a "medical act" again. One of the best during this show. Not sure if it really was out-of-body experience (he could just read mind of the girl about things in the box) but it looked great. The injection. How he was laying and how they showed it. The digits on the screen. The woman with a water. Everything looked great, the act was dramatic and beautiful. Nothing needless.
Yelle & Ghani
Psychokinesis. Feather on the hand. Not bad, but I waited more from them... Beautiful music. I liked very much the frizzly celebrity girl, she reminded me Sigourney Weaver.
Now, some words about comperes.
Tooske
I'd advise her to change dress and not to use this hairstyle - ears stick out.:)
Uri
He looked a little tired today, it immediately takes toll on the face. Obviously needs a better visagiste before every show + visit to a beauty doctor. Good creams every day, maybe injection of botox can make real miracles.
His act with compass was not new but good. I felt a strong energy from the screen. It was very tasty.:)

The next Uri Geller January 20
The German show became much better, more dynamic and comprehensible. I liked all acts.
As for contestants most of all I liked Aaron Crow - really charismatic. Great costume.
I enjoyed his act with an apple, arrow and a ring. Very beautiful, nothing needless.
Besides Aaron I want to mention Gabriel and Daniel.
The act was simple but very nice. I know that these things really exist. Not long time ago I played myself in metro like this making passangers move their hands.:))) Background with faces was also very good.
Manuel Horeth - not original act with a phone book but well done.
Amila - Near drowning in a water tank.
She had to guess a four-figure code which would enable her to get out. But she could only get two of the numbers right – not enough to open the lock.
As the clock ticked down, she thrashed around and was completely under the water for about 25 seconds.
Millions of viewers saw an assistant rush onstage with bolt cutters to snap open the chains that kept Amila captive.
Amila was voted and got through to the next round of show despite her evident failure to perform the trick.
Very nice - I just have written some days ago about escape from a water tank and that the show needs incidents - and here they are - an incident with a water tank. It seems my thoughts materialize with the velocity of light.:)

Act The Mask
It seems there was something special in this act as I still can't get it out of my head. I think was it possible to make it better? Maybe to take not the figurine (or another one) but, for example, a beautiful vase? And of course the Mask should at first tell a story of this thing BEFORE putting it into the box, at first make the woman and viewers cry. It this case he could break not just a thing but happy memories, and viewers would feel with it. And in the end of the act he could tell the woman some phrases about her future.

It is possible to judge by Youtube which acts had success - not all videos, just some - the best - appear there after show and get a lot of views.
As for last Dutch show, there are 2 - The Mask and Vincent-Vampire. Because they both have bright images, of course. Not new, original, but it still works.
And it also proves that a good artist without a good image - is not an artist yet.

Some ideas for show
I thought what is not great in all these risky acts that they always have "happy-end". You know that all will be ok in the end and worry not too much. It'd be nice to add other scripts for variety.
1. "It seems something had happened"
For example, a contestant shoots into boxes in one of which a person hides. 1 box, 2 box... when he shoots into the 3 box we hear an awful, heart-rending scream! Contestant (and maybe his assistant) run to the box, open it... but the box is empty! They open last box and see a person is there, he is alive and ok. Who did scream? It stays a mystery...
2. "Accident"
- During risky act assistant (or contestant) was injured, a lot of blood, but he (she) insists that he (she) is ok and wishes to finish the act.
- Assistant loses consciousness on the stage
- Contestant makes a "mistake" during perfomance and it seems really dies... a big alarm, doctors run to the the stage, try to help or just take him away. After some minutes of commotion... contestant suddenly appears on the stage from fire, fog, air, ground, water, etc.
3. "I will save you!"
2 girls-celebrities (friends or sisters) come to the show. One of them was invited to the stage to take part in a risky act. At the most stressful moment her friend runs to the stage and cries:"I will not let you take part in this! Let's go!" - and pulles her friend by hand out from the stage. Contestant-mentalist uses hypnosis to stop the girl and makes her stand on the stage in an interesting pose till the end of act.
I also think it'd be good from time to time (not often) to involve Uri Geller into the perfomance. For example, contestants can show him something, or let touch something from their properties, or give him to keep a thing, a sheet, or even try to kill him (without real risk, of course).

De Nieuwe Uri Geller 2 January 16
This show impressed me even more then previous though I didn't think it is possible. Really great.
Uri was in the groove,and it was pleasant to look at him. The girl - compere did her best too.
Music which accompanied show - breath-taking!!! It would be possible not to watch show at all, just close eyes, listen and enjoy the music...:)
I also enjoyed that during the act of Mask they spoke English. If they would add English titles to the video on the site it would be absolutely great. Though even without it I understand most part of the perfomance.
All acts were exciting and dramatic.
Especially I liked Jochem - "barman-telepath". He made a really bright perfomance with 2 girls and coctails! How he juggled with a cheerful music!
So beautiful, original perfomance!

Vincent - Vampire. Nice guy. Uri (I am not sure did he play or not) called his act disgusting and said that vampires don't exist. But I think such personage is necessary for this kind of show! His image, properties, plangent voice were great! Though I can't say the same about the act because I had a feeling that all detailes were good but they didn't become one whole.
Other acts I liked not so much.
Michel (bald hypnotist). At first I didn't like his attitude to a girl which he grabbed by hair. And his properties on the table also didn't look well.
Manro - a man who tried to hang himself jumping to boxes but failed. In the end of the act I had a big desire to hang him myself!:))) And was very upset that he stayed alive.:))) But glad that he left the show.
The Mask - absolutely great image, voice, behaviour on the stage! But I was waiting from him something more exciting, dangerous or frightening. It was difficult to worry about the statue in the box.:))) And the boxes didn't look well too. Though the act was good.
In any case, the show was fantastic.

German The Next Uri Geller 2 January 13
Well, at first must say that I find Dutch show much better in all senses, it is made more professional.
The advantage of the German show are pretty girls but it's not a good idea to build all show just around pretty girls, the show is not called "Miss Germany":)
Too much talks, almost no action, no good camera work, etc., etc.
The best perfomance to my opinion was Danny Ocean. Obviously audience enjoyed it most of all too, and even Uri Geller smiled which was very pleasant to see. But does he really bend forks by his mind? Not sure...
The most charismatic person with a good image and behaviour on the stage was Ully Loup.
Nice music in some moments - unexpected hard rock during Cris's act and beuatiful tune during act of Ully Loup. Bow and arrows with fire (in act of Jan Becker) was a good find.

Really enjoy the Dutch show De Nieuwe Uri Geller. Hope it will stay great and interesting in future.

Though must say that many of contestants look too similar in the same black clothes.:) They can all wear black clothes but I think it is important to find something special for everyone - a bright detail - this could be a piece of jewelry, watch, or colour of hairs, or detail of clothes, or flower, or hat, something special for every person to differ him from others.
Music is very good! These dramatic rhythms in most stressful and exciting moments... I'd be happy to hear more music in the show, maybe live bands and singers in such styles as rock, metal, neoclassical, gothic, dark electro, etc.

I have watched Phenomenon in 2008 and though nobody of contestants except Uri Geller himself really impressed me I liked the idea of show about people with supernatural abilities (better to say - with abilities which most for now consider to be supernatural). There are no much shows about it - I adore format Psychic challenge but there must be more such TV programms.
And, good or bad, Phenomenon (Successor, The Next Uri Geller) keeps the place. Besides this the show is (or at least it could be) an interesting and beautiful entertainment with a veil of mystic.
All this made me interested to watch and compare other versions of the show produced in different countries.
And I am curious - who knows, maybe new Uri Geller really will appear and will change the world?
